DELHI - SHIMLA - KUFRI - MANALI - DHARAMSHALA DALHOUSIE - KHAJJIAR - AMRITSAR - DELHI

Day 01: Delhi - Shimla (by Train) (117 km - Surface Travel)
Arrive Delhi and board the train for Kalka. Arrive at Kalka and then reach Shimla with the assistance of our representatives. Night stay and dinner at the pre-booked hotel in Shimla.

Day 02: Shimla -Kufri-Shimla
Have breakfast and then get ready to visit Shimla covering Kalbadevi, Jakhu and Hanuman Temple. Stop at the beautiful stained-glass-windows of Christ Church, and then in the afternoon leave for excursion to Kufri that is surrounded by dense forest and snow capped mountains. The rich flora and fauna give amazing views that you can enjoy watching. Then you can visit Fagu, Indira Gandhi Holiday Home or can also enjoy horse riding in the apple orchids. Then return back to hotel in Shimla and you can enjoy shopping and other activities.

Day 03: Shimla - Kullu -Manali
Early in the morning check out from the hotel and leave for Manali, visiting Beas River, Kullu valley, Dashehra maidan etc. on the way. Arrive Manali and then transfer to hotel.

Day 04: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali
Have breakfast and then leave the hotel room to enjoy the majesty of the mountains and the glaciers. You can visit the Rohtang Pass that is like a snowy heaven where you can take a sledge ride down the slopes or try your luck climbing the little snow hills. On your way back to Manali you can visit the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley, Marhi, and Nehru Kund.

Day 05: Manali - Dharamshala (240 km)
Get up early in the morning and leave the hotel to visit Manali. You will see the Roerich art Gallery, Hadimba Devi temple, Vashist Bath, Tibetan Monastery etc. Then you can go for half day tour of Naggar Castle and local Bazaar. Then leave for Dharamshala and take rest at the pre-booked hotel on arrival.

Day 06: Dharamshala Sightseeing.
Have breakfast and then leave to explore the Dharamshala. You will visit the Official residence of Dalai Lama, Palampur, McLeodganj, Bhagsu nag Temple, Bhagsu Fall etc. Then return back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 07: Dharamshala - Dalhousie (100 km)
After the breakfast, drive to Dalhousie that is located at the height of 2039 meters in the outer slopes of the Dhaula Dhar range. On arrival, take rest at the hotel and then get ready to visit the Garm sarak, Subash chok, Thandi Sarak, Gandhi Chok etc.

Day 08: Dalhousie - Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland) - Dalhousie
Have breakfast and then drive to Khajjiar, the scenic saucer shaped Plateau that is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center that has a floating island and 9-hole golf course. There are other interesting places that are perfect for tourism.

Day 09: Dalhousie - Amritsar
Have breakfast and then drive to Amritsar, the city of Golden Temple. Take rest at the hotel on arrival and then you can visit the Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. This is the only land border open between Pakistan and India.

Day 10: Amritsar - Delhi (By train)
Get up early in the morning to visit the famous Golden Temple, most sacred temple for Sikhs. A symbol of magnificence and strength of the Sikh people, this is famous all over the world. Its architecture includes symbols associated with other places of worship and is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance. You can also visit the Jallianwala Bagh, Martyrs' Memmorial, built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty and is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. After exploring the Amritsar, you can leave for railway station to board the train back to Delhi.
